The Redline team were delighted to learn this week that the latest functionality enhancements introduced to its COGNITION lending platform have been recognised by the judging panel for the Credit & Collections Technology Awards 2019. Redline have been shortlisted in the Affordability Assessment Solution category at the awards, further emphasising what a triumphant 12 months it’s been for the business. Inside COGNITION, the loan applicant’s income and total monthly commitments are summarised, the debt to income (DTI) ratio is calculated and other affordability indicators are drawn from credit reference bureaus in a single automated process. The result provides a reliable assessment that the applicant can or cannot afford the repayments without adversely impacting their financial situation in the future.
